Shelf 3: Science Fiction

Science Fiction paved the path to the rest of my reading, taking me from the wonderful (and frequently, but not always, trashy) Ace Doubles to the Dangerous Visions of the speculative fiction writers of the Sixties and Seventies and on to the literary experiments of Doris Lessing and Margaret Atwood, and the marvelous series of Orson Scott Card.  This starter set, compiled with the help of fellow SF aficionados Anthony Black and Wyl Schuth, tracks the story from the Golden Age to the New Millennium.
